  1. Found the painter for the picture of Castro that I posted. There are some other great paintings as well http://www.vaughncochranart.com/original-paintings.html
  2. I made mine from an Ikea child stool $4.99 Pictures are taken from the Web, mine is painted Olive Green on the outside, so I don't spook Grass Carp.
  3. I took this picture at the http://www.igfa.org/Museum/Visit-the-Museum.aspx a while ago. funny
  4. I can see shrimp, crab patterns, when I look at those feathers, maybe claws..don´t know. Do a google Search with "matuka style flies" and you'll see more posibilities with those feathers. Felipe
  5. Thanks, Capitán! I contacted some manufacturers and got replies from RIO and SA pointing to their 5wt bonefish lines as their lightest tropical line. Cortland says their Trout Boss should withstand the heat. There is also this Monic All-weather clear floating that could be an option. I was fishing in the canals doing long casts and the line I was using was tangling a lot for being too limp. It's my first time using a 4wt rod in freshwater in south Florida. So I had no clue. Thanks!
  6. The most stiff line out there would be nice... Anybody?
  7. Hello there, Could you guys help me choose a stiff 4wt floating fly line for tropical weather? what do you guys suggest? Thanks,
  8. Grass Carp, and that other carp are different species, we catch them here in south florida when they are feeding under ficus trees, we tye berry flies. Now this guy here has ome other tips: Grass Carp
