Looks like a great trip with a pretty diverse array of species. The exotics in the canals in S FL are really impressive. Good to see the Key Deer, there was some real concern about their survival after IRMA. Thanks for the report.

Some cool fish there love the clown knife that's a popular fish for aquarium keepers in the clubs I am in. How did they get in the waters down there? Did some aquarium keepers release some at some point and they just started breeding in your waters?

Steve, with the exception of Peacock Bass all of the exotics were either dumped or are escapees. Lots of theories on if it was little Tommy aquarium owner or some fish farm/aqua culture entity per given species. After Hurricane Andrew SE Florida could have charged admission for being a zoological park between the reptiles, monkeys, and birds that the storm liberated.
