Love is like fly fishing you cast and cast and cast until you find someone, but if the line breaks you cant just give up fly fishing forever you tie on another fly and continue fishing until you catch the right one

Sur3-Shot, did you tie that last fly, the one in the fourth picture on the bottom?

Sur3-Shot dont posts pictures of flies you "tied" if you did not tie them. You aren't doing yourself any favors. Go to the beginners forum to start reading and learning. As you progress ask questions, as there are a ton of people who will help you tie your own. The last picture is a Don Bastian, the man is master tyer and I can usually spot one. Also the "fly box" pic is taken from the web..

Yeah, I found that picture from Don Bastian today, but figured it could have been an honest mistake, but with the dry flies as well.......

I also found it somewhat odd that there are two different vises in the first two pictures, though I know a man can have more than one vise.

Getting ready for spring and hopefully some trips to central pa trout streams. So tied some olive shrimp, cress bug, and sucker spawn.

Just so everyone is aware, this is the Feb 2012 thread. There is another for 2013.
