Flat Rock native 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2017 All- FYI Just found out the Ebay price on J-Vice, which I can strongly recommend, and will review on another thread soon, is currently priced at $450 in the auction. This is a $700.00 + package. I contacted Seller, with whom I have no association, to find out why it was being sold. The stated reasons are personal financial concerns and no dissatisfaction with product. I can find the quick link to the product is anyone is interest, and having difficulty. Sale ends Saturday. May still be in the packaging, Seller out of Northern Colorado. Hoping this is not a forum member, because I just big-footed your sale. [Or maybe increased advertising] I also have no association with J-Smit or Wasatch, and confess to bias in favor of J-Vice, because of my experience. Also love several other brands, FWIW

Gene L 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2017 That's an opening bid at $450. And this is the time of the year for a seller's market. We'll see how it goes.
Flat Rock native 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2017 1 bid, still at $450, a steal. Have not tried every vise but a bunch. If I tied for a living, i.e. guide, commercial, dabbler but selling; This is the first one I would buy because it does many things so well. FWIW, the others are Nor-Vise, HMH tube, and Harbor Freight (or Vise-Grips) for anything larger than the first 3 will easily handle. 2 cents

Moshup 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2017 I was tempted but Christmas time is a tough time to spend that kind of money on myself. Beautiful vise and lots of good tying to the new owner.

Hope winner was one of ours, betting there is some Seller's remorse.
tjm 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2017 Surprised it got that high, most would be like Mogup just before Christmas. Seller remorse is possible.
