Jong Special

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Tied a Jong Special (1st Attempt) and tied it on a #16 scud hook. The videos I saw online were using a straighter shank hook that I didn't have in that size so I substituted the scud hook. Do you think it will make a difference?

Well the wire looks Great! I noticed that the Summer brown thread looks darker than what is shown on you tube but I imagine that is just lighting. While we are at it I was wondering if anyone had used the UV from someone other than Clear Goo or Loon who seems to be awfully expensive compared to what is available on Ebay...any opinions?

If I ever buy into UV cure it will be Solarez. But somehow I've gone 30 years or more without it thus far.

... UV from someone other than Clear Goo or Loon ...

Type in "UV Shootout" or "UV Challenge" in the search box ... you'll find several threads on UV resins.
