  1. I went fishing yesterday and used the loop to loop tippet to leader. Worked very well and I caught a good bunch of bluegills. I am also ordering the tippet to fly threader. Thanks again. I really needed the help.
  2. Thanks everyone for all the responses and tips. I will get fly threader and that will probably solve my poor eyesight problem. My main problem is that my hands will not do what I tell them to and I had thought that it would be easier to tie some up at home and use a loop to loop connection. Glad to hear that that will work and I will use this. I imagine that one should try to make the loops as small as possible. I'll give it a try and let you all know how it works for me. I'm going out this evening and see if the fish agree. I'm sure that the Blue Gills will not care but I wonder if the Bass will get spooked. Again, many thanks. Doug
  3. Hi all, I am a 76 year old fly fisher but lately I have been having a problem. My eyes are not what they used to be and my hands shake pretty bad. So, when I go to change flies it takes me just about forever to tie a new one on my line. Would anyone have any suggestions for me so that I can spend more time fishing and less time cussing? Is there some device to help me or could I somehow tie some in advance? Any suggestions will be welcomed cuz I really don't want to give up fishing this early in life due to frustration. (am not planning to quit til I hit 100) Thank for your help. Doug
