justcameslabdaddy 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2015 Can anyone tell me how to find Graham's Insect wings tutoring?
hydrophyte 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2017 I'm also interested in this. I'd like to know about recommended plastic films for printing and other details.
Peterjay 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2017 Graham's been a pretty busy guy in recent years, (he makes "buggy looking" props for the film industry) and I don't know if he has any tutoring videos floating around, but you should also check to see if Fred Hannie has any instruction materials available. Fred and Graham are the gold standard as far as realistic fly tying goes. They're both members here, and there may be something in the FTF archives that would prove useful. mybadhabit 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2017 Fred told me he doesn't come here that much anymore, that was back in September, I can't remember his website, but you might find it under his name on here. Look in the realistics threads and you should be able to find him. Blane
Peterjay 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 Fred posts regularly on Facebook. Graham used to post there also, but I believe he took down his page. His last name is Owen if you want to do some digging online. I'm sure there's plenty of info on realistic insect wings online for somebody who doesn't mind doing a little poking around. Fred and Graham are among the very best, but there are others who are very good at it.
