Float Tube??? U boat???
Posted 16 February 2004 - 02:12 AM
Wear good neoprene waders with long underwear and warm socks. Here in Alaska the water is cold all summer long. One suggestion is to buy flipper keepers.... a strap that attaches to your ankle and fins. It sucks to loose a fin out in the middle of the lake.
I have a dry bag that I keep items like food, drink, camera and toilet paper in. I attach a rope to it and float it behind my tube.
Another suggestion, bring sunblock with you. The reflection off the water is very strong.
Good luck and FLOAT ON!
