Today I went thru my fly box, and am unable to name these flies.  Can you help?

1 is a stimulator.  It's the only one I know for sure.  I use them often.

5 looks like it might be a Matuka.

#1 Stimulator, #2 is a stonefly imitation of some kind, tied like a Sofa Pillow, but the body is not typical.  #3 is a variation on the Muddler Minnow pattern.  #4 Is another version of a Muddler. #5 Is a Dark Spruce Fly tied with a Matuka style wing.

#6 Is tied like a Dr Spratley, but the body color is not black.

#7 is a Grizzly and yellow wooly worm.

1. I am going to say not a Stimulator. On a Stimulator the front hackle is palmered through a thorax (which could be dubbed or something like peacock). It could be an Improved Sofa Pillow a Bucktail Caddis variation. It could be somebodies version of a Stimulator, but the basic form definitely predates the Stimulator.

2. I'm going out on a limb and saying Salmon Candy #4, a somewhat obscure pattern. Is there a second wing in the middle of the body? That might take me an another direction.

3. Muddler or Spuddler variation.

4. Rolled Muddler.

5. Matuka Spruce Fly.

6. Doc Spratley.

7. Yellow Woolly Worm.

I agree. If #7 had a wing it would be a Kalama Special.
