trick or treat

Is the head articulated on this one? It seems to hang low at the front, narrowing the hook gape.

In my opinion, this an optical aberration, as there is clearly enough distance between the bottom of the body and the hook point, if you look at it very closely. I too had this initial reaction. Also, the back end of the body seems to be in front of the point of t hook, which opens the gape up. I attribute the problem to his holding the bug in haemostats and by hand, as well as the angle of the shot. It is not as good of a 'profile' view that one expects when photoed in the vise.

Nice job Tee Nootsie!

Cheers!

Great Halloween colors for sure but you gotta make'em able to hook'em...Your pic prolly weighs 5# and blurry. Not criticizing, tryin to help. Gotta get a camera or find the function on yours for taking closeup maybe. And you can resize your photos right on your puter....Posted this on another site hope it helps...

If your pics are in "windows photo gallery",

"Open"

"Paint"

"Image"

"Resize/skew"

Change the % in the Horiz & Vert. boxes to what you want. (Equally or they'll skew)

Check "properties" to see if it's the size you want. If not "undo" and try another % till you get what you want. I usually make all mine 30% to fit pages, emails, forums. You can bring'em on down to make avatars also. Or you can bring lil ones up in size, but they'll blurr...

"Save as"

Hope this helps....May be too simple for some complicated minds...

I am apologize for the photo. I will try suggestions to do better. I see that I hold the bug at a wrong way to get a good shot. Plenty of hook gap...just does not make you see it. Thanks for some information...Tee
