They teach veterans of wars how to fly cast, fly fish and tie flies. Since its inception, PHWFF has been helping disabled active duty personnel and veterans to overcome the obstacles associated with their military service-related disabilities. The relearning of the fine motor skills required in fly fishing and fly tying has proven to be particularly effective in the overall rehabilitation of the disabled. [attac hment=28234:DSCN3582.jpg]
  4. i just ended up gettting the dr. slick 3 1/2 inch prisms. they rocked earlier and then for the fine stuff i got the sixth finger scissors.
  5. Anyone like the adjustable tension Dr. Slicks. need to replace my scissors and thinking about these http://www.jsflyfishing.com/cgi-bin/item/O...azor-Scissors-4
  6. i would go for a kayak. a pontoon is made more for float trips on rivers. they are hard to paddle back up river. if you wanted one for a lake then i would add a trolling motor. i use i kayak and love it for all that you talked about
  7. united urges you to take your fly boxes and rods on because they dont want them stolen from checked
  8. i am not sure. we have a guy custom make them for the fly shop. the thing is really odd because you tie it in upside down then fold it over and you are left with the two little pieces of felt or what ever that stick out behind the bend that keep the tail from snagging the hook both. but mainly smallmouth bass
