xvigauge 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2019 I recently saw a review of the fly tying book "The Fly Tying Artist: Creative Patterns for Common Hatches," by Rick Takahashi (2019). The book was showcased in the current issue of Fly Fisherman magazine. Just wondering if anyone has this book and if so, what do you think of it? For those who prefer to read reviews instead of just buying the book reading it, and then making their own judgement, there is a positive review on the Barnes and Nobel web site. I'm going to go ahead and order it and save any criticism until after I read it. Joe

Joshpilon08 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2019 I own it. Full of different and interesting patterns. I only had it a couple weeks and have yet to try any pattern. Thus far it's been a good buy. Bit pricey but so far worth it.
