  4. I have an anvil apex vise. It is such a great vise and only put me down about 70 bucks. It has steel jaws and can hold anything from like 4/0 (which I never use) to size 32. Its also has rotary jaws . I say what your looking for as a beginer is a sturdy vise with rotary ( not necesary but useful as you get more into this wonderful hobby) capabilities and steel jaws. heres my vise but not my picture
  5. Where were these photos taken?
  6. I'd have to say brookies because out of all those species, I've caught the most brook trout. :headbang:
  7. I'm pretty sure i couldnt bring myself to do that. It takes the fun out of fishing.

  9. this should actualy have the title "Incredible Catching Video"
  10. Well here you have it, a dirt cheap head cement drying rack that works great if your tying alot of flies at once. Its pretty self explanatory, drill a hole through a cork ( I prefer the artificial kind because they last longer and dont fall apart) get some heavy, but soft wire, bend it into shape and stick the cork on.
  11. When tying the duck quill wings onto a dry royal coachman, do you tie in the hackle first or the wings? How do you tie in the wings? Thanks, jwilson
  12. As a beginner, I was thinking about purchasing this item but I wanted to know if you guys think its worth it. Thanks, jwilson
  13. How would I treat some rabbit hides from hunting to make them into tyable material?
