From my understanding the Guadalupe Bass rules over the smallies in the Guadalupe River. Any suggestions on patterns and decent areas? I will be hedaing that way for a little vacation on the river.

Just be sure to check the flows of the river before you go. The river has been moving fast this year due to an overabundance of rain. (1300-1500 cfs). Also, when are you planning to go? The Guadalupe is a very popular place to be in the summer here in Texas. Nice cool water supports a large "tube" hatch that generally hinders fishing a bit.
