Troutslayer101 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Ok....for you guys that tie articulated streamers is there a way to tie them that you can get a "S" action out of them that would be comparable to a jointed rapala or a zara spook. I know some of it may have to do with your retrieve but wondering if there is a way to tie them that gives them more action.
eastern fly 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 The articulated idea came from the jointer Repala. The wire and bead combo will give you the walk the dog acton if the fly is built correctly. If you want more you can go the game changer style. Hazathor 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Check out this YouTube series from Gunnar Brammer. He goes way in depth on different streamer design and what actions they impart. Great stuff. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMTqaI4iIj3zD-0-wJTiDNP7fAYCAh-Sw

vicente 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 I tied some with an ep bait fish style on the back section and spun deer hair for the head on a shank, it definitely has a swimming motion.
