  10. Hi all, VERN-O hope that info help you. FROM THE BOOK/ THE CLASSC GUIDE TO FLY FISHING FOR TROUT CHARLES JARDINE This is a traditional Spanish wet fly, with an air of sedge pupa or uncased larva. The wing is formed from Cop the Leon hackles. The Pyrenees pattern is normally tied with the glossy, stiff hackles. The next link you can see the traditional way to tie the Spanish wet flies, and the differents kinds of cod de Leon feathers ;IN SPANISH the first ones, ENGLISH the last one. Thats is all I got so far, if any one find something more about the PALLARETA pattern, please let me know thanks...!! http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/mo...ontajemosca.htm http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/mo...las_plumas1.htm http://www.gallosdeleon.com/Ingles/ingles.html PALLARETA hook- regular nymph n-12 rib-black silk body- the one on the pix is Gutermann-col.325, the yellow silk varnished will work too. hackle or saddle -coq de Leon, INDIO, NEGRISCO for the traditional pattern, the one on the pix is PARDO, ACONCHADO, tie rigth on top the head, with 12 t0 15 feather fibers are fine, body length. You'll see in the link about the different way to tie up the fibers for a traditional Spanish wet fly, and the PALLARETA one.

  12. thanks guys, and this one was for coldwater species forum, sorry about the mistake :wallbash: luvinbluegills, the mtp- n07, it works in my home rivers for trout, from the north west in Spain, the mtp-n08 is too new to tell you something about it. I'll try both for trout next spring in NY, PA streams. river suggestions are welcome, I kind of lost... :dunno: Manel.
