Butt - Red dyed seal's fur
Ribbing - Oval silver tinsel
Body - Black floss
Throat hackle - Grizzly
Wing - White calf tail

Tip - Orange floss
Tail - Golden pheasant crest topped with a strand of fluorescent red floss
Butt - Black ostrich herl or wool
Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel over entire body
Body hackle - Black, palmered over black wool
Body - Rear half orange floss, front half black wool
Throat hackle - Guinea hen
Wing - Yellow dyed grey squirrel tail

That ain’t a lizard that’s a salamander or a Waterdog as we call them in the south.

You can buy them in bait stores around here

The flies pictures look great, Retro. But what is that nasty looking thing you've got them hooked on? It looks like a rotten, old pipe bowl.

Trying to develop a pattern for next year. It is interesting to see how different this one is compared to the first iteration.
