  1. Hey guys, I live in an area with an abundance of squirrels. Occasionally, they fall dead in my yard ( don't ask ). I need a good pattern that will use some of my squirrel tail supply. Any ideas? TAMU84
  2. If you have one more space, I'm in with a foam frog.
  3. If there is another position open, I'm in. Maybe a foam frog ?? TAMU
  4. Another one is the tip end of a caulking tube. It is tapered which allows the opening to be changed as needed.
  5. My instruction book uses a lot of Uni-Stretch, but does not explain why. What is it ? Is it better than thread for covering the hook ? What other uses ? TAMU84
  6. I am a new fly tyer, and :yahoo: something has come over me since I started. Every where I go, I am looking for new materials to tie onto a hook ! I go to the park and see squirrel tails ( not the squirrels, just the tails ! ). My wife will not let me go near a petting zoo, since the goat mane incident ( the trial is Friday )! Last weekend, I was a church admiring a lady's fur coat and feathered hat ! I spend more time in the craft and knitting stores than my grandmother. I stopped a little girl at the mall last week and bought her bead necklace right off her neck. I think I have a problem, but I don't know how to cure it. Happy Tying ! TAMU84 :yahoo:
  7. Greetings from Richmond, Texas. I am a rank beginner that has just started fishing with and tying flies. So far I am copying patterns from books. I hope to gain a lot of knowledge from this site. TAMU84
