AK Skim 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2018 I started with an LL Bean fly tying kit vise, moved up to a HMH vise (last decade or so used for #20 and small flies), and the last decade plus a Regal vise on my tying desk. Yesterday at the NJ Fly Fishing show I purchased (First in line on Friday's opening) the long awaited HMH TRV vise. It only took all of 38 seconds of rubbing my hand over it... (ok so I exaggerate... 9 seconds to be honest) and said.. I 'll take it. Afterwards I honestly felt bad for the three HMH guys... they had to be thinking.. what the hell just happened??? I'll tell you... a HAPPY GUY JUST BOUGHT A TRV... Get use to it boy's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't be the first or last by a long shot. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Already know I made the right decision on this purchase of the TRV Just been sitting here tying and thinking about buying a second for my travel bag Sunday (last day of the Edison show).
