Looks like it's just pseudo hair. Tail tied in normal and the head tied hollow style and then held in place with silicone, softex, or something similar

Definitely not a Surf Candy look alike, at least not how Bob Popovics ties it. I didn't tie these.

Might be a variation of a Mushmouth pattern. Doesn't look like a complicated pattern. I could probably duplicate is with Senyo Lazer Dub. I would tie it on a Gamakatsu SC15 for saltwater and on the Gamakatsu B10S for fresh water. How I would tie it.

Thread- Clear Mono

Material- Psuedo Hair/Craft Fur

Tie in a piece of the white material on top of the shank. I would V-tie it.

Tie in a piece of the white material on top of the shank. I would V-tie it

Once tied in stroke the material so it blends into one piece

Move the thread forward, leave enough space to V-tie in three pieces of material

Tie in a piece of white material on the bottom of shank. Stroke it back

Tie in a piece of white material on top of the shank. Stroke it back

Tie in a piece of olive material. Stroke it back.

You could use a tooth brush or comb to so you don't see any separation between the material pieces

Attach the eyes. I would place them in the same position as in the craft fur bait fish.

I can tell what it's coated with. Might be silicone, Liquid Fusion or some type of UV resin.

Might be useful, might not be.

Thanks Philly and fshng2

Will try to tie it.

fshng2 the pic you supplied explains much better detail and can see it is coated with silicone or similar.

Agreed very hard to see on a phone or tablet.

It was easier to see from my computer at full screen and stepping thru each picture of the 360 compilation.

You are correct #1 and #3 are tied skew on the hooks and very sloppy too.

#2 looks to be acceptable in my opinion.

Do you plan to get the first one wet that you tie to see how it swims?

For what it's worth.... tied these with the "yarn fiber". Can't blend colors very well but the tie is the same. Tie in colors in reverse order and backwards(out the front of eye) then comb back over the hook and stabilize by glueing on eyes and some flex glue lightly on the fingers shaping the head. I used the Solarez flex formula. Notice the fibers still separate per color.....Grrrrrrr!

Nice work denduke..."yarn fiber is Acrylic correct?

I like the Solarez thin but have not tried the flex formula.

How flexible is it and does it wick much into the fibers?

Acrylic. The multi color was $4 and dog brush$7. But I'm not really satisfied with it. Couldn't blend flash and different colors together and not lots breathing action. The solarez flex won't allow breathing and great movement but not ridged. But made good heads not any on tails but tails were kinda dead when I tried them but most fibers don't breathe much anyway. Rabbit strips do!!! Some lil bass jumped on'em though.

Single total white for the fly; sharpies for color ;and flash over top might make some doeable stuff. The white I got was large and when combed still had waves. Shoulda got the small strand stuff. Maybe if you combine the colored strands then comb get a good blend. Need to try that. No way to get flash "down in" the fibers. Agn54might have some suggestions he intro-ed it. The clumps of fibers act like they are "closed" if that describes the problem.
