Maybe it was the New Year's Eve bourbon, but I was sitting around thinking about what to tie when I got the idea of a smaller version of a Matuka. I started with a size 12.

Green Charm (Var)
Hook - Salmon/steelhead style
Thread - Black
Tail - yellow dyed hackle fibers
Ribbing - Oval silver tinsel
Body - Green floss
Wing - Green dyed greyish mottled monkey hair
Variation - Green dyed grey squirrel tail is the closest I have to green dyed grey mottled monkey hair. extremely rare in my area of connecticut

Tied this up for a friend who's a huge K.C. Chief fan; her husband's a Raven fan so I'll have to dye up some purple stuff. Took cues from a version I saw on Troutnut.

Been trying to put some eyes in deer hair. Ain't quite got it worked out yet, but they are good enough for my box.
