Lost Coast 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2015 Originally from Northern California. After 45-years in Washington I am headed home to the Lost Coast (in 55-days)... The fisheries are in such terrible state here I don't know where to begin. In addition to steelheading with the two-handers I also get a kick out of fishing for the resident miniature versions, too! Looking forward to being closer to the family and new adventures. Of course, the Rivers of the Lost Coast! I have started tying the classics again.... I don't know anything about the specific area you will be in out west but I do know that up in the mountains, the Truckee river still has good fishing. Washington, Oregon still good Steelhead fishing. I think Salmon are getting tough everywhere. I bet you can find a Honey Hole somewhere out there !! Good luck with it.
