Went up to Erie yesterday. Best day we've had in the few years we've been steelheading. The water was clear, but there was decent flow. The fish were thick everywhere in the Walnut Project Waters. Manchester and parts of the chutes were black with fish. Quite a sight. Angling pressure was a lot less than expected. I caught 3 fair (1 on Elk), Dad 2 fair (both Walnut), all on Wooley Buggers under an indicator. Probably about a dozen hooked in the fin, but most were able to squirm free without too much effort expended. All fish were 6-8#s. Here's the photographic evidence that we did in fact catch said fish.
