  1. Hi Troutbum11, Sure, the Allen Bucks is store credit. Once the order is placed we add the store credit in your account. If you log in to your account you should see an amount for store credit. I got home yesterday and flying back out today for a show. I'm starting to catch up on emails. When I get yours I'll make sure it was already added. Thank you, Justin
  2. Hi Guys, Sorry if Kyle was not getting to the phone when you called. If you tried my number 574-855-7100 is would have went to voice mail last week. I was in Korea discussing our new hook production with our current and planning our new hooks. We will be releasing around 20 new styles this year. Thank you, Justin
  3. Hi Everyone, I was reading though the forum and noticed this. Glad to see many of you happy with using our hooks. It's a product line of ours that has been growing month to month and yearly. I just wanted to address one post about our supplier/mfg. We are "not" having issues with our supply base. I travel to visit them 4 times a year and I'm very happy with them. Some of you might see a few hooks not in stock. That's only because we have been moving our hooks out of China to Korea and Japan for the last 1.5 years. We even pulled some hooks from stock because I don't want our customers buying one of our old China made hooks and think that's what our new hooks are like. If I did not want to do this 'All' hooks would be in stock. I would rather sell 'quality' over quantity. This is what makes customers come back in the future. The decision was simple to do this. With 6 years of data knowing what hooks are our priority those are the ones we stated with. We are also working on smaller sizes and several new hooks. This move was/is expensive so we thought out each step. We are now 90% moved to Korea and Japan. Now, that things are going well and demand had tripled we are increasing production on our popular hooks. Some did run out much faster than expected and restocked asap. I feel this growth is based on our goal to see quality over quantity. Life is good with our hooks. This is just one step forward for our brand and becoming a more well known worldwide hook brand. **Dcap240 - The new runs are done. The site will be updated today. If any one has questions . Please feel free to call me anytime at 574-855-7100 Thank you, Justin
  4. Hello, I'd be happy to take a look at it. Send me an email at [email protected]. We'll get you takin care of. On another note, we are expanding our hooks. I am working on 23 new hooks to be ready in late Aug if all testing goes well. Thank you, Justin
  5. oh, I'm not mad at all. Thats what they want. I beleive in what goes around comes around. I have no issues with Steve and Johny Utah. I dont think people will form an opinion about me or my company around these two people. The thread was intended to let people know what hooks I am coming out with and products for the future. That held true until page 8. I spoke to Will about this over the weekend at the Midwest Fly Expo. Your right, the thread should have stopped around page 8. After that its more like two first graders trying to get the last word in. For everyon else. Sorry that when you keep logging into FTF this thread keeps moving to the top. I would be annoyed aswell. I would prefer to make this the last post and to have the thread closed. Thank you, Justin
  6. NJFlyMAn - I think its clear that you have issues with me. I think we can stop the hijacking of the thread. It was clear that this was planned before you received my hooks. There is no need to keep going on with this thread. Your question about making things in the US is pre empted since I am aware of your other post on your buddies form. I have asked you to call me several times and not yet heard from you. I started my company to provide products for those that dont have the budget to purchase those products with expensive price tags. Yes, my products are made offshore aswell as many other well known and successful brands. For right now it makes since with my ROI. This has never been an issue with my company since those that have purchased my products have been happy with them. As for the fly boxes. Its expensive to have a mold made. Even a 1 cav mold. I want to make sure the demand stays high with the ROI before there is an investment. This goes along with reels, and hooks. I dont question your intelligence in the industry you are in. My background is in mfg and I plan to have that once again. Your concerns with me can be taking private to preserve the integrity of this board in a PM or over the phone like I have suggested several times. Justin
  7. I do have a phone number 574-855-7100 you can call to ask me these questions or my email address [email protected]. I'm following the thread you started on the other forum that your buddy has and you already put me down by trying to make products in the US. This is my overall goal.
  8. Trez, Sure, when they are ready. I'll send some out to ya.
  9. I will have saltwater hooks and some salmon hooks (#7999) in the next 30 days. I'd like to get them into some hands for honest feedback before I go on my honeymoon in April. Got married last Sept so were takin a belated honeymoon. I'll send my beads to some people aswell for feedback.
  10. The plans to change over the hooks have been planned awhile ago. The current scud hook is offset. They are being changed to not be offset and making them in smaller sizes and using a new heat-treatment furnace.
  11. You opinion is important to me. I just took out a pack of my 2457-14 and 16's and cut myself ha testing the point. I think we can keep this in a private PM with going back and fourth to prevent the thread from getting off topic. Great things are to come with new hooks and improvments. Just needed a starting point. I do hope in the future you will be trying my hooks again. Thank you
  12. Thanks for your option. Yes, you did receive the #14 and #16 scud hook. The two hooks that I am making a change on. I think when we spoke on the phone before I sent the hooks, I made you aware of that.
  13. I'm figuring out pricing now for the beads. In my next newsletter I will post the pricing. Thanks
  14. I also had problem with Allen and their hooks, the eyes were breaking while tying or even just setting them in the jaws of the vise. There is nothing worse than getting almost done and the dang eye breaks off without any force. The shank on the hooks were bent. But the biggest issue I had was I ordered hooks and only half of them would ship to the house. Then it would take a national emergency to get hold of anyone to find out they are out of the hooks I ordered. I will spend the extra dollar to get better quality hooks, trouble free. I do make mistakes, but what was your order number? I'd like to take alook at it.
  15. Thanks for the feedback. I am changing the smaller scud hooks. I'm sure you will be happy with them once they are done. They will be ready in around 2 weeks. Thanks again, Justin
