pacres 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2017 I just posted another video. This one is a little bonefish fly tied in light pink with some hot pink legs. tidewaterfly 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2017 Nice video and the colors is likely a good combination for Hawaii from what I've read about the flies popular there. I was there one time, but didn't get to fish, and only after I had returned home did I realize I could have chased some Bonefish & other species on such flies. IMO, for most locations, where Bonefish are the primary target, pastel pink in the pattern is likely a much better choice than a real brite pink, but guess you never know until you try it. I once tied up a bunch of Gotcha's in the popular colors for a fellow who was going to the Bahamas to chase Bones, and added a few in odd colors as samples. One was all black, not a color most folks might try, but he said he actually did very well with it, so go figure. Only the fish know what they'll take, we're just guessing.
