Change color/size to suit your needs; partridge or a host of other feathers could be used, as well. hook - Dai Riki 300 #10 thread - UTC 140 tan rib - x-small wire copper body - Ice Dub hare's ear body hackle - grizzly (undersize by 1) wing - deer hair shoulder hackle - sharptail grouse front hackle - grizzly head - 1mm foam tan mash barb, start thread at head tie in a strip of foam (about 1/2 gap width) at eye; fold back, tie down/trim tie in rib, wrap to bend dub thread/dub body tie in hackle; wrap to bend rib thru hackle; helicopter end, cover with thread, trim hackle tip clean, stack, measure (tips to bend) a clump of deer hair; trimbutts/tie in tie in grouse by tip; wrap, tie off/trim tie in hackle wrap, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
