I just love tying stoneflies. I have a problem.

Caught this beauty on the above fly. Looks great in the water with the flash.

I'll take a dozen of those, they'd be good for the cutthroat up here.

Thanks guys. The realistics have inspired me. My problem is I want to fish the realistics.

I know the legs look like ass because i forgot to wrap them with thread before mounting them. Let me know what you guys think.

Whipped these up on a size 10 daiichi 1150. Tail is a bit long but the second one turned out.

This one was tied with that exact tutorial.

I have to see what i can do about the tail portion. Its very tough when braiding larva lace to keep it round.

I just whipped this up tonite. Give me some opinions please. I'm still looking for that perfect pattern. A Nick Pujic body i just copied it and re did the front end.
