Friday night I got a call from a buddy asking if I was interested in heading to Denver for a flyfishing show.
My response was, "Dude, you didn't have to break my arm!"
After 12 hours of driving we were in Denver just before the doors opened to the show. I met and spoke to Lefty, and Bob. Also met the President of Scott rods and the owner of Fishpond. Great show. We then decided to head up to Estes Park and fish the Big Thompson. Started fishing Sunday morning around 8 A.M. and fished till 1 P.M. I ended up catching 12 fish, two of them being browns. Had a herd of 50 or more elk come through before fishing. Awesome trip!
