Northern California just got hammered with the wettest rain storm in several years. My back yard rain gauge(a bucket) totaled 7.5" over 3 days...and there is more rain coming this week. Several coastal communities got over 20" of rain in 3 days. In the Sierra Nevada region this translates into a lot of snow. 20 feet in some of the higher elevations. All of this rain and snow could mean a very good spring and summer of fishing in streams and creeks, especially in the Sierra. I'm crossing my fingers!
