Hartwick's Duck Turd SBS

A few mods to the original; woodduck flank collar and pheasant rump for the wing.

 

 

hook - Dai Riki 899 #6

thread - Danville 6/0 black

tag - tinsel gold

tail - schlappen red

rib - oval tinsel gold

body - peacock herl

wing - pheasant rump

collar - woodduck flank

 

 

mash barb, start thread, wrap to point; tie in tinsel, wrap to barb and back, tie off/trim

strip some hackle fibers, measure (tips to bend), tie in
