Mr Tire, I very much enjoy seeing the the flies you post. Always the highest attention to detail. And always a pleasure to see.

You must have pile of them. Do you tie a few of each specimen or just one perfect rendition of each? Do you fish them? Do you pretty much only tie for salmon? Do you pretty much only fish for salmon? Would you mind posting a shot of some open boxes with all that "Salmon Candy" in them.

Thanks for showing us.

Mark,

For whatever reason I found myself interested in tying hairwing trout streamers from the book "forgotten flies".

That eventually lead to tying Atlantic salmon flies even though I do not have any salmon streams in south eastern Connecticut.

Then it was on to hairwing steelhead flies and again with no steelhead streams nearby.

I guess I just like tying them.

i usually tie only one of each pattern unless something goes wrong like forgetting a material. sometimes 2-3 but not very often

I'll have to put some up for sale in the trading floor forum

Flytire, There's a lot to be said for all that. I can see the attraction of tying them just for the art. They are beautiful. There are a couple other guys around here that tie in the same genre, and tie very nicely, I like them all.
