Hot Tuna 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2006 As some of you already know, my wife runs a liquor store. Yesterday she brought me the greatest feather storage boxes. Grey Goose vodka gets shipped in these awesome wood boxes that have a clear sliding top. Not all stores have the shelf space to put the vodka out with the box...check with your local store and see if you can rustle a few of these up. They're perfect for longer items, such as quills or half saddles etc. Hot Tuna pS They just look downright cool!
jcstikfish 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2006 Nice tip, thanks! The other liqour "tip" I know of is the Crown Royal bag used as a fly reel case. ~James

billb 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 On the off chance that anybody needs a reason other than the obvious one to buy a bottle of single malt, the metal boxes that some brands are shipped in also make good feather caddies, although they won't stack like the Grey Goose boxes and they're not as classy to look at! -- Bill
