Just wanted to let you guys know what I came up with. I bought a pair of cleats that mostly covers the sole. I'm gonna cut a thin piece of rubber or use one of those sole inserts in between the spikes and the sole to cover up any felt showing through. Hopefully that will work.

Yea it looks pretty good ice wise. A couple days will be getting below freezing and just don't wanna take any chances. I'm not sure how my ankles will hold up on any ice so I just want to be careful.

Instead of spikes I might bring a life raft help.gif

I was out the other day and had on some felt bottom boots. It looked like I had high heels on and walking like I was drunk. Yeah they are great anytime else but the winter.
