  1. I think 5 or 6 since they can take a while and are pretty expensive. It would be like the bass bug swap. Lets see if we get more interest first.
  2. Is there any interest in a steelhead intruder swap? We could all do different colors and intruder has become more of a genre than a fly. Would need someone to host besides me. Lets just gauge interest now.
  3. First swap in a while but Im thinking ill tie a synthetic clouser unless I come up with something else. Maybe a zoo cougar. I live on the wonderful smallmouth fishery of Presque Isle on lake Erie. Good to get into a bass swap.
  4. Anyone recieve anything yet or not? I have not seen nor heard anything.
  5. Well what did you guys think of the reverse parachute? There isnt a post either. It may make them harder to see but it may also help catching some wary trout.
  6. Got my flies today and they all look excellent, I think mine could have looked a little better compared to the others. I just started tying again and its a relatively new style for me. Hope you guys like em.
  7. My flies were mailed out and toe tagged. I hope they get there safely.
  8. Sorry about the toe tags. I hope everyone enjoys my pattern. I havent seen it on this website yet. Its a reverse para with no post. Works excellent as an emerger or a dun. If fishing like an emerger you should grease the first little bit of your tippet so that it sinks a little bit.
  9. The clodhopper is a great fly. Im going to tye up my 12 this weekend. I had a bass fly fishing class today and the instructor loved the pattern. He said that he wouldnt mind having some for himself. Its a green body with yellow legs and looks awesome wet. :headbang:
  10. Im in. Ill be tying a Lake Erie Shiner pattern. I local fly and great shiner imitation. So how many flies are we tying?
  11. The clodhopper was the pattern that I found earlier that I decided on. Then you went and posted that video. So ill make it public that the clodhopper is my pattern of choice :headbang: Ill see what sizes I have and then make them work. About how much will postage be? This is my first swap.
  12. What would be the best all around size hook for tying a hopper. I wanted to know what you guys thought would be the best size.
  13. Im in. Ill have to find a pattern to tie. It will probably be foam. so put me down as TBD I guess.
  14. Id like to participate in this swap if nobody minds that this is my first post. I was recommended this sight by a friend and have been tying for a few months. Im 16 also. I was thinking of tying a sulphur of some type. The major sulphur hatches should be happening when these flies are due. I may be out of line for making this my first post, but I hope nobody minds. Im more of a lurker than poster.
