I can see what you're doing on this video !!
Much better angle than the last one. Interesting lure. Cut that disc to about half it's diameter, and it would cast well enough on a 5 weight rod.

I make the disc in multiple sizes. This size give better action. Again it's more for trolling. The problem wit ha smaller diameter disc is you lose the erratic action the smaller the disc becomes. Rather it takes faster retrieve to notice the wiggle. Still the disc of any size displaces water, and that's the main thing. Fish can sense that water being displace, and it helps them find the fish.
