  1. Awesome sale. I just got both colors in the mail today. You can get a 100 or more flys from a package and there are several sizes to choose from. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true
  2. Does anyone have any idea when the Dungeon Master will have any more http://www.flytyersdungeon.com/Materials/h2o_twist.htm in stock? I know he has had it unavaible for quite some time. I'm getting low.
  3. Thanks for the web site. Looks like I might have a new hobby now!! Man the wife is going to love me for sure. :wallbash:
  4. I found an article for tanning and keeping them soft for zonkers. I think I'll have to give it a try. http://www.ehow.com/how_4451234_tan-squirrel-pelt.html
  5. Does anyone know how they tan the hide for squirrel strips to keep it soft? Squirrel season comes in this weekend and I should have a bunch of tails and skins coming.
  6. Is there a specific type of chenille (yarn ) that you look for in the craft store or big box store. I purchased some black and tan a while back but it seemed to be very cheep. Fuzzy chunks would come off of it during handling and a core string would end up popping out of the center. If I could find a nice workable chenille yarn spool I would much rather purchase it. Thanks
  7. I really like the 8th one down. Sort of a black ghost color maybe.
  8. I'm still new at the game so it takes me a while to figure out what I want and then figure out how to make it happen. It's fun though!!
  9. Any word when the 2009 issue will be released? I seen nothing on the web site.
  10. Just got back from Wal Mart and came across a pretty good find. I went to the craft section and found sheets of foam for .33 cent 8x11" and a package of 50 sheets 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" for $5. There are 2 differant packages, 1 has neon colors and 1 has more natural colors. They both have 13 differant colors and are 2mm thick from the looks of it. Lots of white black and red, shades of green, tan, pink, orange and blue. Sure beats paying $2 for a couple pieces of 3 x 5". Hope it helps
  11. Will say a prayer. I hope he gets better.
  12. Does anyone use the antron yarn from J. Stockard? http://www.jsflyfishing.com/cgi-bin/item/S...le,-Medium.html I have used some from Spirit River but would like to try the above mentioned. I believe it is also $1 cheaper from Stockard. I like the looks of it on woolly buggers.
  13. I have 2 pair. 1 of them is a cheap pair from cabelas the other is the Dr Slick micro. I have been thinking of getting a pair of serreted for hair.
  14. Got make me one of those!! Make that 2 of them, the wife is a die hard scrapbooker!!
