Not very good of a picture but darn its snowing ugh

Just starting to look hopeful too.

Looks like a great day to go fishing to me. Bad weather limits the number of other people on the river, fish aren't as spooky, bug selection is limited. My kind of day!!!

2 feet still on the ground here. 1 1/2 inches of fresh snow this morning. A small blizzard for about a half an hour this afternoon. The arctic might be melting but it's not reaching here yet. Oh, I forgot to mention the 30" of ice still on the lakes.

Only if rivers were open or lakes weren’t frozen

Snowpack level 156% of normal way up high. That'll make lots of water for the downstreamers, but be high & dirty in the mountains for a month or so once the melt starts, especially on the Upper Colorado.

I'm afraid of us getting a big warm late rain on the sierras I wreaks havoc when you get 4 inches of rain on a 12 ft deep snow pack not to mention we lose that late water we need in the summer.
