Frank G. Swarner III 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Here are a trio of Twilights. The originator of this pattern is Mark Waslick. I went by the picture in Bob Veverka's book, so the pattern is not exactly accurate. There is a recipe in "steelhead flies" by Dick Stewart and Farrow Allen. FlaFly 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 If it turns out not to be the same ingredients, you can call it something else.... like "Twilightish"???
FlaFly 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 By the way, they're really nice.
Piker20 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Those colours would work lovely for sea run browns. Maybe that's why he called it twilight? The UK tradition is to fish for seatrout after dark.
