Yeah Czech/Euro nymphing has been the big trend in fly fishing for the past few years. It's insane how much those rods are in demand now. I've probably built around 100 of those in just the past 2 years now. It's like selling blue jumpsuits in front of Mikes house.

I'm using mine like a regular fly rod. (thank you, again, Steve ... I love the rod)

But it's able to get small offerings farther out, with more control than my shorter rods.  And I can guide a sinking/suspending fly through pads better.

Interesting, Mike -- I do a LOT of fishing in and around lily pads, and that application of a longer rod has not occurred to me. Great idea! And now I have an excuse to build a 10' 3 wt. :-D
