Holidays are over so back in the shop now full time to start working on the list of rod orders. First one of 2020 is this 9' 7wt Quickline build. One of my fav faster action blanks that I wish Pac Bay still made.

Looks like an acceptable start to the year, Steve.  I like that reel seat.  It'd look GREAT with a blue colored wood underneath!

Very nice indeed !  I too wish those blanks were still made. Wondering maybe a Beulah might work in it's place.

Stabilized and dyed could look really cool, it would also make it impervious to water.

Possibly !!!  Or from any tree above the Mason/Dixon line ...

 

I was under the impression that EVERYTHING turned blue in the cold temperatures up North!

Aww, they quit making the Quickline? That's a bummer -- that blank had to be one of the best values out there. All good things must end, I guess....
