flytire 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Heres a little trick Prior to sticking on the eye, bend it like this "<" because the head of the fly is round and not flat like the stick on eye. Should look like this <O> instead of this |O|. As you can see, once the eye is bent there is more area for the eye to stick on. They wont stay on too long without some sort of extra adhesive. Heres what I do: after sticking on the eye as best as possible, I tie on some clear mono tying thread and wrap over the eyes with a few turns and tie off. Then I coat the head and eye with an epoxy or Sallys Hard as Nails and the clear mono thread simply disappears. Hope that helps Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
