Thinking of heading out to the lake this weekend in the old War Eagle. Probably will toss a few small baitfish patterns to get deep as I doubt the bass will be hitting anything topside.

Just a little more info for the weekend. Supposed to be sunny and around 60 on Saturday.

Any thoughts on other patterns?

P.S. I'm hoping I put this in the right section...

South Carolina, this time of year can be dynamite.  If you're fishing a sunny, warmer than usual day, you might run into bass that are looking for nesting sites.  Probably won't get any large females shallow, yet, but there could easily be a lot of males scouting around.  And they'll be hungry.

Same goes for all the sunfishes ... a strong sun will warm 'em up nicely.
