Jungle cockcapes

Recommended Posts

I was some jungle cock capes on eBay from Estonia for $35 plus $9.50 for shipping. I want to the some salmon & steelhead flies. A few questions is that a good price? What to look for when buying them? A few had split nails, I think that is probably the very end of the feather. Am I right. Thanks for the replys.

Here is a source I have used before: Lathkill Fly Fishing http://www.lathkill.com/shop/index.php. They are in England, shipping is around $7.00. Prices are in Pound Sterling which is about $1.30 US dollars. They have lots of exotic feathers and a large selection of Jungle Cock Capes. I agree with Henry, unless you are tying for show or competition split eyes are fine. The fish are going to tear them up anyway.
