Twilight - Mark Waslick

Recommended Posts

Here are a trio of Twilights. The originator of this pattern is Mark Waslick. I went by the picture in Bob Veverka's book, so the pattern is not exactly accurate. There is a recipe in "steelhead flies" by Dick Stewart and Farrow Allen.

If it turns out not to be the same ingredients, you can call it something else.... like "Twilightish"???

Those colours would work lovely for sea run browns. Maybe that's why he called it twilight? The UK tradition is to fish for seatrout after dark.
