cussfly16 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 Hey guys, my question is this.. I have read about Grannom caddis rappelling between rocks and about LaFontaine whitening his leader to imitate this, but which end does the silk come out of? the head or the tail? My guess is the head, but I have looked the internet over to find a picture and have come up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated, thanks...... rockworm 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 Your guess it correct. Caddisworms spin their silk from modified salivary glands in their head.
