Byron 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2010 Hi, I received my F1 fly vise today. They are made in Slovenia of all places. My computer is in the shop and only have my iPad so can't seem to post a picture of the vise. Anyway, wonder what others think of the vise. I got the "low-end" one which is the more traditional version. One thing I like immediately is that the jaws are on the order of the old Renzetti Presentation 2000 - with the tightening wheel instead of the lever cam jaws Will post a picture when I can. Interesting vise though. They have a site at www.sava-ribiski-pri bor.com Thanks Http/flyfishing99.blogspot.com IMG_0054.JPG

lykos33 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2010 Sometimes new "members", with only a few post, will turn out to be joined just to promote their item or to sell something. So when a post is read , sometimes it sounds like a sales pitch or something the first read. The website you gave for the vise company did not work and if you search the "www.sava-ribiski-priber.com" in Google it comes up all foreign language links. A combination of these factors would lead one to believe your post was ...."SPAM". After I checked your other posts I could see you were an actual member and not just a company arse trying to sell something. Welcome to the forum (a little late maybe) and I think it looks like a sturdy made vise!

I wonder if anyone else was successful in getting to their site? I thought/think others would find their various models of vises to be quite interesting...... swellcat 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 The web url is botched (as is the OP's homepage address) in the original post. Here's a link to the vises through Google Translate. The translation is not perfect, but three vise models are visible. The F1 model seems to be priced at about 201 USD. Both sites are worth viewing, imo.
