A neat pattern from the Smokey Mountains. Original called for ginger variant hackle tips for the wings - best of luck finding that. I dyed some grizzly hen; don'tthink the fish will care.

hook - Dai Riki 320 #14

thread - MFC 8/0 brown

tail - ginger hackle

rib - x-small wire copper

abdomen - Uni-stretch camel

wing - hen hackle tips grizzly-dyed tan

hackle - grizzly/ginger

Mash down barb, start thread at 75% mark; wrap back to point above barb and make a small bump

clip, stack and measure (shank) a clump of ginger hackle fibers; tie in tight against the thread bump to get the proper splay/cant
