Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2017 This angler requested a "Murdered Out" fly rod (all blacked out) so this is about a blacked out and stealthy as it gets here. 9' 5wt MHX blank with black braided carbon fiber reel seat, carbon fiber grip, blacked out minima guides with black wraps and single turn silver trim as well as an epoxy ramp at the winding check. Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2017 Depends on a number of variables as to how much cork work is done in the grips or how much trim wrapping is done and a few other things. On average though anywhere from 6-15hours just depending on how intricate the build is. That's just actual hands on time not counting prep work or cutting cork/dry time or anything like that.
