Hi All;
I'm Terry from Rockford, Illinois. I'm basically a self taught fly-boy (as far as
casting and presentation techniques) I'm sure that I'm fullofabunchof bad habits
that hopefully I can pin point present to you fine folks and maybe correct-self.
I have taken a basic fly tying course and really do enjoy tying them. With the
economy the way that it is, the place where I work shut down for 2 weeks during
the Holiday Season so now I've got enough flies to last me quite awhile. The flies
I tye, I fish. I have probably used maybe 7 store bought flies since I started fly fishing
and those were used in the beginning. I'm kinda proud of that for some reason.
I fly the Kishwaukee River and Kilbuck Creek for smallmouth bass. I practice CPR,
I have an inflatable pontoon (boy do I love that thing) and also a canoe, both of witch
I use to transport me to favorite wading areas. Wading is my passion. There's
nothing like spending a day standing in a river catching and releasing the fish you love.
