  1. I got mine today in the mail also. Very nice set of flies. Thanks Joseph for handling the swap. Looking forward jump in more once I am done with school next year.
  2. What a great idea for a swap. I would jump in, but looks like this is going be drawn out for a bit and i will not be around to finish it. I will be following to see how it pans out though.
  3. Got mine in the mail today, great looking bunch of flies and what a great idea for a swap. Thanks Michael for hosting.
  4. Thanks JasonV, I just sent off for another swap today. I guess I need to bring my own envelope, after paying for the envelope and shipping I saved like a $1 and slower ship time.lol oh we'll, just have to factor this in on the price of having fun.
  5. Michael, flies are headed your way, just dropped them off in the snailmail with return shipping envelope today. We're we only supposed to send 9 of each? When I looked at the list again it looked like there was 10 of us all together. Well I sent 10 of each, so feel free keep the extra ones for hosting and doing all the work.
  6. Ants all tied up and decided on dropper of a merging caddis nymph variation that I like to use. Hope to have all tagged up and in the mail next couple days.
  7. If you have not seen, Orvis is having a special on 20 trout flies for $9.95 free shipping. U can't beat that, I love tying, but for that price I wish I could order more than one box. Pic for kicks to keep it fishing pics with the kids.lol
  8. Joseph, flies are in the mail with return paid envelope. By the way to all, anyone find a cheap way of sending these little suckers back and fourth? Unless I read something wrong, regardless a large envelope is all flat rate price through USPS.
  9. that is a Chain Pickerel Yep a chain pickerel, some call southern pike. Thanks for pointing out proper name, it's a totally new fish to me from being from the Northwest. Regardless a fun fish to catch. I feel they are all very much alike, you are not alone.lol
  10. Yeah its a very skinny pike I think with a big head. I am located down in Maryland, home of PHW. I am same situation wanting be more of volunteer than participant, but just being out there is great. It's been on a weekly meeting. Hope you get back with your old chapter.
  11. Very nice looking fish. Are you part of a chapter up that way? I just found out about project healing waters and looking forward to be participating and helping out as much as posible. Here is a pic from Sunday my 7 year old snapped of me.
